We collected 217 cell phones, 1600 minutes pre-paid calling cards and $1,990 in monetary donations for a total of 1,040 hours of talk time that will be provided to our troops.  Thanks to everyone that helped.

The Alabama Chapter of the MS Society to hold their annual MS 150 Bike to Create a World Free of MS, September 27 & 28.  Two days of riding for a total 150 miles.  Riders must collect a minimum amount of $200 to participate.  Money raised goes towards research, support and cures for Multiple Sclerosis.  See their website for more info, http://bikealc.nationalmssociety.org/site/PageServer?pagename=BIKE_ALC_homepage
