Birmingham Walk MS 2009

On April, 16th the HPM CSC supported the Birmingham Walk MS 2009.  The event was a huge success raising over $100,000 for the MS Society.  Hoar Program Management’s Team Murphy raised over $1,100 and provided 20 volunteers and participants.

  Team Focus - Formal Dinner & Mock InterviewsAttachment
Hoar Program Management will be assisting the Team Focus camp for young men ages 10-18 without father figures on the evening of July 14th.

12-14 volunteers are needed to act as waiters and waitresses for a formal dinner (4:30-6:00) and 8-9 volunteers...

"Cell Phones for Soldiers" - We Exceeded our Target of 1000 Hours Talk Time!!!
 
We collected 217 cell phones, 1600 minutes pre-paid calling cards and $1,990 in monetary donations for a total of 1,040 hours of talk time that will be provided to our troops.  Thanks to everyone that helped.

MS 150 - John N. Whitaker Memorial Bike Ride
 
The Alabama Chapter of the MS Society to hold their annual MS 150 Bike to Create a World Free of MS, September 27 & 28.  Two days of riding for a total 150 miles.  Riders must collect a minimum amount of $200 to participate.  Money raised goes towards research, support and cures for Multiple Sclerosis.  See their website for more info, http://bikealc.nationalmssociety.org/site/PageServer?pagename=BIKE_ALC_homepage

TOYS FOR TOTS – We were amazed at the generosity of our co-workers!!!
 
For the 2008 Holidays, Hoar PM teamed up with the Marine Reserves at Toys for Tots to collect toys for children in need.
We received 98 brand new toy donations!!!  Thank you to everyone who participated!
