Hoar Program Management (HPM) was created in 1998 as a way to offer 70 years of comprehensive construction related experience to clients who either lack or don’t have enough professional design and construction management staff. Initial projects were small and primarily focused in the State of Alabama. Over time they have become larger, more diverse, and more complex allowing HPM to develop a broader reputation and expand into national arenas. As a result, HPM now has additional offices in Huntsville, Alabama; Mobile, Alabama; and Houston, Texas.
As a division of Hoar Construction, HPM was founded on the principles of honesty and integrity and these values are largely responsible for the division’s steady growth. HPM recognizes that its employees are its strength and also recognizes that its employees’ attitude and commitment to the relentless pursuit of improvement are the reasons it has grown to be a leader in the industry. HPM was recently named as one of the top 50 program managers in the US by Engineering News Record. With a staff of 65 full-time employees, HPM is currently managing an annual construction volume of approximately $325 million. With the flexibility to deliver a variety of services from real estate acquisition analysis and site selection to building commissioning and move management HPM serves a client base that includes both for profit and not for profit entities.
